ISMP
Information Security Management Professional

Cyber Consulting's ISMP course is accredited by Exin and rigorously addresses all certification requirements.
ISMP is intended for all those involved in the implementation, evaluation and communication of an information security program. It is recommended that the student has Exin's ISFS certification, or has equivalent knowledge. This course is preparatory for the Exin ISMP certification and consists of video classes, class material, questionnaires, mock tests and practical work.
In the ISMP course, the student will learn about the perspectives of Information Security from the point of view of the business, customers and the responsibilities of suppliers. You will also learn about Security and Cyber Risk Management, the basic principles of risk management, how to control them and residual risk.
The most important chapter, which has the greatest weight in the exam, deals with the Information Security controls covered in ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002 of 2022, in this chapter we explain in detail the main controls required by Exin in the ISMP exam, covering Organizational, People, Physical and Technological Controls.
In the practical work, the student will have the opportunity to exercise the knowledge acquired with the preparation of a SoA (Statement of Applicability) and recommend the necessary controls to mitigate risks identified in a fictitious scenario.
